Hello Contact community Eindhoven!

I would like to invite you to my workshop on Sunday, 21 June to dance and explore Contact Improvisation together. I am from California and currently living and teaching weekly classes in Amsterdam. My joy of dancing and moving with others began through the study of Brazilian dance styles such as Capoeira, Samba and Zouk. I also studied and performed circus acrobatics around Europe, Later I fused and adapted some of the influences from these movement styles within my contact classes.

My lessons

My lessons integrate the play of momentum, flow and the dynamic of the spiral shape. In today's class we will work on finding strength in softness. In groundedness we can easily find lightness. We will explore the delicate yet solid connection which brings us into new and changing journeys with our dance partners. Looking forward to meet and dance with you!
